Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc Nearly Triple COVID Survival Rate

A new study published in medRxiv shows that a combination of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and zinc given in higher doses to COVID-19 patients can nearly double the survival rate for those on ventilators. When HCQ was given with azithromycin (AZM) survival rates nearly tripled.

This is the same HCQ that former President Trump touted, but coronavirus team leader Dr. Anthony Fauci discounted as ineffective, and the World Health Organization warned against using for the same reason.

Now that the study is out, numerous pundits and lawmakers are calling for Fauci to be held accountable for putting the brakes on the use of HCQ during the pandemic.

“How many people died bc Dr. Fauci said trust the science and Hydroxychloroquine isn’t effective?” Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted. “New study shows: Hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin therapy at a higher dose improved survival by nearly 200% in ventilated COVID patients. Trump was right.”
