In just one week, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that death reports due to a COVID-19 vaccine jumped by more than 6,000.
July 13, 2021, the CDC reported that more than 334 million doses had been administered nationwide, with 6,079 deaths reported after receipt of the vaccine through VAERS, a national vaccine adverse events reporting system.
Then, in its July 19, 2021, report, the CDC said they’d administered another 4 million doses and recorded a total of 12,313 deaths through VAERS. They also reported that they’d received another 1,148 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis, up from 1,047 the week before, in patients age 30 or younger, and 100 “preliminary” reports of Guillain Barre syndrome.
“Most (myocarditis or pericarditis) cases have been reported after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), particularly in male adolescents and young adults,” the CDC says.
Despite the death numbers, the CDC still says “reports of death after COVID-19 vaccination are rare” and that “reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem … However, recent reports indicate a plausible relationship between the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine and TTS, a rare and serious event — blood clots with low platelets — which has caused deaths.”
