When the fully vaccinated staff and owner of Argosy Restaurant in East Atlanta Village came down with breakthrough cases of COVID-19, the owner decided to punish non-vaccinated persons for the vaccine not working.
Owner Armando Celentano told WSB-TV that he posted a “No Vax, No Service” sign because he decided “it would make better business sense to not allow unvaccinated people who are more likely to spread the virus” into his restaurant.
Saying the new rule was no different than refusing to serve someone not wearing shoes or a shirt, Celentano said he’s “not afraid to ask someone to prove they are vaccinated.” He didn’t say what kind of evidence he would ask for to prove a person has had the vaccine.
