Two major league all-star baseball pitchers who worked with the MLB Network have left their in-studio jobs rather than submit to a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine imposed on all MLB Network employees. John Smoltz and Al Leiter will work remotely through the end of the 2021 season, although Smoltz is still scheduled to call a game on-site in October.
