World tennis pro Jeremy Chardy says his 2021 season is over, blaming a “series of problems” that he’s had since he had the COVID-19 vaccine.
Chardy said some of the problems include movement-limiting pain that prevents him from training or even playing tennis. He got the Pfizer vaccine sometime between the Olympics and the U.S. Open and now he regrets taking it because he doesn’t know when he’ll be able to start playing again.
“It's the first time that the idea that next season might be my last has crossed my mind," Chardy said. “I don’t know how long it will last. For now, my season is stopped and I don’t know when I’ll start again.”
