England Ends All COVID Passports, Mask Mandates, Work Restrictions

Beginning January 27, 2022, England will no longer require COVID vaccine passports for entry into certain public places and events. They also are ending mask mandates, including those for schoolchildren. Work-from-home requirements are also being dropped. Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the abrupt change in COVID-19 policies to cheers and applause from House of Commons members.
