As totalitarianism takes over the world, with governments and elitist health officials stripping people from basic freedoms, this video explains how obedience to their edicts increases the power of authoritarianism.
It’s not that people want to give up their freedoms, but that they feel powerless and anxious and, thus, obey out of desperation.
The one virtue that can change the tide is courage. From division of the masses through vaccine mandates, passports and segregation of the unvaccinated to the imposition of curfews, fines and job loss, it all adds up to relinquishing rights you most likely will never get back — unless you have the courage to stand up against what’s happening.
As Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said in 1978, “A decline in courage may be the most striking feature which an outside observer notices in the West in our days.”
