Tennis star Novak Djokovic said he isn’t participating in the U.S. Open this year unless the U.S. changes its rules mandating that all participants get the COVID jab before they are allowed to come into the country
And, he’s not budging, he says: "I would love to go to States. But as of today, that's not possible. There is not much I can do anymore. I mean, it's really up to the U.S. government to make a decision whether or not they allow unvaccinated people to go into the country."
Djokovic was deported from Australia in January 2022 for refusing to get the shot to play there.
