Pfizer and its partner in COVID-19 jabs, BioNTech, have announced a new agreement with the U.S. government to supply the U.S. with an initial 105 million doses, at the cost of $3.2 billion.
“Under this agreement, the U.S. government also has the option to purchase up to 195 million additional doses, bringing the total number of potential doses to 300 million,” the companies said in a Business Wire news release.
The shots will be delivered as early as late summer 2022.
