In a victory for parents and children alike, the Louisiana Department of Health has rescinded its school mandate for COVID shots.
It also was a victory in-kind for Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, who fought the mandate from the beginning.
"Child medical decisions should be made by their guardians, not the government," Landry said in a public announcement. "I hope this health freedom victory reminds everyone what can happen when we all work together. When citizens are engaged and get involved, their government will listen."
