New York Court Shuts Down State’s No-Vax, No-Job Policy

The news is sweeping the internet after the New York Supreme Court struck the state’s previous stance that public employees who don’t get the COVID shots will be fired from their jobs.

Not only that, but the court also reinstated all the employees who had been let go for refusing the shot and ordered they receive all their back pay. More than 1,400 employees who were fired are in New York City alone.

According to Fox News, “The court found Monday that ‘being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting COVID-19.’ New York City Mayor Eric Adams claimed earlier this year that his administration would not rehire employees who had been fired over their vaccination status,” while exempting entertainers and athletes from the mandatory shots.
