CVS and Walgreens to Pay Billions to Settle Opioid Lawsuits

The deals aren’t quite final yet, but if all goes as planned in papers filed with the government, CVS and Walgreens will pony up $5 billion each to settle lawsuits related to their roles in the opioid crisis.
