US Will Resume Handing Out Free At-Home COVID Tests

With an eye on anticipated COVID cases this coming winter, the Biden administration is reviving its free at-home COVID testing program. The plan is to purchase 200 million tests at a cost of $600 million. Citizens will be able to get four free tests; during the pandemic before the pandemic ended, they could get eight tests per household, paid for by insurers.
