Texas Governor Signs Bill Banning COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates

Texas employers will no longer be allowed to mandate COVID-19 shots as a condition of employment, thanks to a new law passed by the Texas legislature and signed by the governor. Gov. Greg Abbott signed the bill November 10, 2023. The law also imposes a $50,000 fine, per violation, against employers who don’t abide by it.
